Distribution

Today in class we did an activity concerning distribution. The object was to get all the salt and water from one part of the room to the other side. We had difficulty tranporting all of our "product" because there is only two people in our group. But we efficiently transported everything eventually and turned out that we won the constest.

My team

My team for this semester consist only of Me and Yurias. I have known Yurias since freshman year because he was a trumpet player with me. Yurias goes as "Mr. B", B stading for "DA BEST". So Mr. B and I will work in this class as a two man team. Yurias is in football and can be a hard worker. I will look forward to future assignments with him.

4 p's Project

In our project we creating a marketing poster of Chuy's Tex-Mex Food. On the poster we included directions to one of the locations and some pictures of that location. We also included pictures of the food that is served at the restaurant and a slogan that persuades the audience that Chuy's food is low priced.
Our group worked hard together and we collaborated at a high level. We split the project pretty evenly and created a good final product.

Sports Marketing Interview Process

Music is one of my main hobbies. I have been playing the Trumpet for close to nine years now. Recently, I have made the All-Region Band in which only the top fourty or so trumpets players make in the region. I love my dad's homemade chili, nothing else compares to it. Restaurants I like are, Olive Garden and Saltgrass. I also am a big Phillies and Eagles fan. My favorite subject in school besides music is math. I like the complexity and the concept of problems. I consider myself a very open, friendly person. I am willing to work with anyone as long as they are willing to put the same amount of work in. I am creative and come up with many ideas which benefit my group. I like to think that i have no weaknesses and that i always try to achieve to do my best in everything i set out for. I am usually pretty good at test whether I study or not. Yes, i usually do study so that i can be certain i know the material.
In this class i want to learn how to market. Business is something i am considering for my future and this class will help me decide on whether i will choose that carrer path. I believe that our group will benefit the most if everyone contributes. I think the best way to do a project is to split up certain sections and then collaborate in the end to make a final product. I will always work hard in everything i do. If you give me a task i will set out to complete it, not only for my benefit but for the team's benefit.

Dr. Freedman's Video

In today's world, Dr. Freedman mentions how competition for work is global. You are no longer just competing with your countryman, but from people on other continents. In this flat world, new technologies bring on new opportunities and you must capitalize on these opportunities in order to be successful.

With his information, I've learned that working with my teamates, reasearching and playing an effective part in the project will result in a good video. Like he said, "if your wiki is rubbish, than your video will be rubbish". Working and researching with my fellow classmates across the world will make our wiki better which will in effect make my video better. In the end, being orginal and creative in creating my video will be best.

Flat Classroom Project

Our class was selected to participate in the Flat Classroom Project. In this project we communicate and work with students all across the world. I am very excited at this opportunity because of the fact that I will be able to talk with teens my age who may live halfway across the world. Using the new Web 2.0 technology that we have learned will be benifical towards a succesful project. I cant wait to find out our specific assignment so that we can start this project!

Trumpet
